A family owned child care center, Boca Lyons Academy is an amazing facility set on a 2.5 acre plot. We care for children from 2 weeks old to 12 years and provide a range of age appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development.
Our focus on the arts as a central part of children’s education is designed to encourage creativity and self-expression. Through the arts, children develop confidence in themselves and their abilities, empowering them to find success in other areas of education.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on learning and creativity. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms in a home-away-from-home environment, we are able to create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn. Our range of specially trained teachers of the arts provide children with a foundational knowledge unlike any other childcare, helping students to not only prepare for the next step of their education, but explore their creativity.
Who We Are
Boca Lyons Academy got its start in Boca Raton in 2011 by the Diaz family. We decided to do things a bit differently at Boca Lyons by creating a space which fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children from 2 weeks to 12 years can explore the world around them and be free to explore the arts, learning to express themselves creatively.
We believe our innovative, family-led approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships. The arts can have a profound effect on children, providing them with new ways to express themselves, different ways of thinking and learning, and confidence in their own abilities.

Our center includes:
2.5 acres of space for children to play, exercise, and take part in sports activities
A separate building for our youngest children, giving them an age-appropriate space to develop at their own pace
We have three exciting playgrounds for our children, as well as an incredible Bounce House to play on

Facilities
Our dedicated facilities enable children to learn in purposeful ways, with the space they need to grow, create, and become confident in themselves.
The Infant and Toddler Building
A dedicated space for our youngest children, the infant and toddler building has a separate playground to allow the children to play and socialize with others of a similar age. Teaching children of similar ages and development levels together aids with their learning and helps them to build confidence.
Indoor Gym
Our indoor gym is multi-purpose, offering an indoor space for children to play in should the weather be unsuitable for outdoor play. The room is filled with children-size exercise equipment, such as stationary bikes and treadmills.
We also put on yoga sessions and karate lessons to mentally and physically benefit the children. Boca Lyons Academy recognises the importance of activity and exercise as a part of children’s education, and our yoga and karate classes are designed to promote fitness, increase concentration, and grow children’s confidence.
Dance Studio
Filled with mirrored walls, the dance studio is an open space where children can learn to perform with confidence, find joy in the movement of their bodies, and increase their motor skills. With a ballet bar and integrated speakers, the space is perfect for learning new dance styles.
After School Games Room
The Afterschool room has a variety of activities available for children, including games tables, a reading area, computers to work on, and space to do homework.
Art Room
Our art room is a space to get messy, be creative and have fun. We encourage the children to work with a variety of materials, exploring their creativity and self-expression.
Music Room
Packed with instruments suitable for children, the music room is where the children are welcome to make noise, express themselves, and create collaboratively. We work with the children to teach them the basics of making music, playing instruments, and singing.
Library
The library space provides children with a quiet section for the preschool in which to practice their reading, listen to stories, or do quiet activities. The library is designed to be a calming, neutral space for children, where they can be focused and peaceful.
Outdoor Space
Boca Lyons Academy is built on a 2.5 acre plot of land, allowing for plentiful outdoor space. We have three separate playgrounds for different age groups, as well as a basketball court, soccer field, and bounce house. Through play, we encourage children to be active and work in teams to develop their sporting ability.

Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of programs, including daycare for infants and toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten. We also offer after school care and summer camp for children up to 11 years old.
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our setting.
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter school seamlessly.
