At Boca Lyons, creativity and self-expression are at the heart of everything we do. Through the arts, children develop confidence in themselves and their abilities, empowering them to find success in other areas of education.
To celebrate our children's imagination, creativity, and perseverance, we host a number of events throughout the year to showcase their incredible talent and hard work. Here is just a snapshot of the amazing events we host...
The Queen Of Hearts Dance
Our Queen of Hearts Dance is our celebration of Valentines Day! A red and white themed ball for the children, the Queen of Hearts herself comes to visit our center, lead the dancing and take pictures with our students. We have a DJ with amazing games and music for us to dance our hearts away to, as well as games and pizza for truly indulge in the things that make our hearts happy!
Trunk Or Treat
Trunk or Treat is a fang-tastic time for parents to get involved! To celebrate Halloween, parents park up at our center, decorate their trunks with a theme of their choice, and fill them with treats!
Our children dress up as their favorite book or Disney characters to take part in the celebration, taking a look at all the incredible trunks and collecting their treats.
The day concludes with spook-tacular parties in our classrooms, where children can play games and enjoy their treats!
Friendsgiving Dinner
Friendsgiving is our special day to celebrate our friends and teachers. We decorate the whole center with fall decor and everyone comes together for a yummy meal.This is a great time for the kids to enjoy each others' company and share what they are thankful for! We love Friendsgiving and being around each other. It's a time to be thankful for Friends and Family.
Ballet Classes
As part of our dedication to the arts, we have a dance studio where the children learn a variety of dance styles, including ballet.
Through the year, we host showcases for parents to show them the incredible work that their little ones have put into their performances. This is also an amazing opportunity for children to develop their confidence and communication as they perform with their classmates.
Piano Lessons
Our dedicated music teachers are at hand to help children develop their understanding of reading and playing music. At a young age, this helps children to develop their fine motor skills alongside their musical abilities. Our music room is stocked full of instruments that children can play to grow their understanding of music and rhythm.
Parents are welcomed into the center to enjoy musical performances from our classes throughout the year, including piano and singing.
Easter
Easter is an exciting time of year at our center as we have a very special visitor... the Easter Bunny!
With themed games, spring-time celebrations, and let's not forget about the Easter Egg Hunt, our Easter celebrations bring the children together as they compete to find the most eggs.
VPK Prom
We always celebrate our Pre-K class with an end of year Prom! With a DJ to help us dance the night away, each Prom night is themed and we make sure to crown our Prom King & Queen.
Graduation
We are incredibly proud of every student that joins us at Boca Lyons Academy. As they prepare for the next step on their learning adventure, we make sure to celebrate all of their successes with a graduation ceremony!
Parents and family join us as their little ones walk across the stage and officially say goodbye to our center.
